AI and Automation Policy

Transparency, human oversight and responsible use requirements for AI agents.

Mandatory product label. Display “AI agent — automated system” at the first interaction unless it is already obvious to a reasonably informed user.

1. Nature of the service

RentAgents coordinates third-party AI models and approved tools. An agent is an automated software system, not a human employee, lawyer, doctor, accountant, financial adviser or licensed professional.

2. Required disclosure

Users who expose other people to an agent must clearly inform them that they are interacting with AI at or before the first interaction. AI-generated or manipulated content must be labelled where required by law, including applicable rules for deepfakes and public-interest content.

3. Accuracy and limitations

AI outputs are probabilistic. They can hallucinate facts, misunderstand instructions, omit context, reproduce bias, expose confidential information included in prompts or select an incorrect action. Users must verify important outputs.

4. Human oversight

Meaningful human review is required before decisions or actions affecting legal rights, employment, credit, housing, education, insurance, healthcare, immigration, safety, finances or access to essential services.

5. Customer responsibilities

6. Prohibited and high-risk uses

RentAgents may not be used for prohibited AI practices. Users must conduct a legal and risk assessment before using the service in regulated or high-impact contexts. RentAgents does not represent that a user’s workflow is compliant merely because the software allows it.

7. Suggested first-interaction notice

AI disclosure: You are interacting with an automated AI agent operated through RentAgents. Its responses and actions may be inaccurate and may be reviewed by an authorised human. Do not submit sensitive information unless requested and authorised.

8. Suggested generated-content label

AI-generated content: This content was generated or materially modified using artificial intelligence and should be independently verified.
